The Names of God
A name in Scripture is how God gives Himself to be called, not a label we invented for a force.

Moses asks for a name because a name is how you call someone who has spoken.
I AM is not a riddle for specialists. It is God refusing to be a god among gods. He is. He does not begin. The LORD, the name, is that same revelation handed to Israel as the name they were to use.
Later, when Israel has broken that bond at the mountain, God proclaims the name again. Not a new god. The same name, now spoken as mercy and as judgment.
That is why the site keeps a list. People meet one name in a sermon and cannot find where it was first said. Names of God is that shelf. The card does not pretend every title is a separate being. The LORD who heals is still the LORD. God Almighty is not a second god beside Him.
Jesus takes the I AM sayings into His own mouth in John. That is not a lesson in vocabulary. It is the claim that the name has come near. Those lines sit with Titles and Names of Christ, which is what He is called as the Son, not the older names of the One God.
Do not collect names as charms. The seraphim do not manage God by saying the right word. They cover their faces. and love are taught in The Character of God. The name is for calling, and for obeying the One who answered.
This is a deeper teaching under Knowing God. Its home is The Gospel.
