Lesson
Coming to the Father
Prayer is a child speaking to the Father, through the Son. The Lord's prayer is the pattern. The other prayers of Scripture are a lookup.

He already knows, and He still says ask. is not a performance and not a lever. It is coming.
The invitation
Prayer is a child talking to his Father. We come to the Father through the Son, by the Spirit, asking, confessing, thanking, and waiting.
The pattern Jesus gave
Our Father first. Then His name, His kingdom, His will. Then bread, debts, and danger.
Finding one prayer
The prayers of Hannah, Daniel, Jesus over the cup, and Paul about the thorn are on Prayers of Scripture, one card each, so you can find the one someone named.
