Philip
The apostle from Bethsaida, not Philip the evangelist of Acts. The Bible does not tell the apostle's death.

Philip the is from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter (). Jesus finds him and says, "Follow Me" (). Philip finds Nathanael (). At the feeding, Jesus tests him: "Where can we buy bread for these people to eat?" (). The Greeks come to him (). In the upper room he says, "Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us" (). He is in the lists of the twelve. That is the man.
Philip the evangelist is a different man. He is one of the seven in Jerusalem (). He preaches in Samaria and to the Ethiopian on the road (, ). He lives at Caesarea, and he has four unmarried daughters who prophesy (). Luke calls him "Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven," which is how you know not to merge him with the apostle. Later historians sometimes did merge them. Luke did not.
The apostle Philip has no book. Acts does not give him a journey after the upper room.
The New Testament does not tell his death. Later memory puts him at Hierapolis in Asia. The details differ. They are not , and they are not the story of the man at Caesarea.
This is a deeper teaching under The Apostles. Its home is Sermons and Series.
