Thomas
Called the Twin. What John shows of him. India is a later book, not a verse.

Thomas, called Didymus, the Twin. He is in the lists. John gives him a voice the others do not. When Jesus turns toward Judea and danger, Thomas says, "Let us also go, so that we may die with Him" (). In the upper room he asks, "We do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?" (). On the first evening he is not there. He says he will not believe unless he sees the marks and puts his hand in the side. Eight days later Jesus is there. Thomas answers, "My Lord and my God!" (). He is at the sea in the morning of John 21 ().
That is the man the New Testament knows. No letter carries his name. A " of Thomas" circulated later. did not receive it as . It is not his chapter in this lesson.
Acts does not travel with him. His death is not told. A third-century book, the Acts of Thomas, sends him to India and tells a martyrdom. It is not the Bible. Some readers think a historical errand sits under that book. The New Testament does not confirm it, and this map will not draw it.
This is a deeper teaching under The Apostles. Its home is Sermons and Series.
